WHAT IS WHOLESALE ALLEY? Wholesale Alley is a MEMBER ONLY Wholesale Market of approximately 100 independent vendors selling a wide variety of products.
Wholesale Alley is owned and operated by the Berkley Family. Situated on 20 acres outside Lexington, North Carolina, Wholesale Alley is a comfortable and relaxed environment where retail businesses can purchase wholesale products.
Our Vendors sell directly to those with a valid State Sales & Use Tax Number. Membership and entrance to Wholesale Alley is limited to those with a Sales & Use Tax Number, who apply and are approved by Wholesale Alley for Membership. Non-Members may not enter the market except as a visitor. Visitors must be accompanied by a current member who holds a Valid Wholesale Alley badge. Additionally, visitors pay a daily fee of $5.00.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER? To become a member you must complete the Membership Application, bring an Official Copy of your State Sales & Use Tax Number and a Valid Identification Card, (Driver’s License or other picture ID) with you to the Wholesale Alley Office and pay the Membership Fee. GATES OPEN MONDAY: 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. TUESDAY: 7:30a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
PAYING FOR MERCHANDISE Vendors are all Independent businesses and accept different payment methods. Everyone accepts cash and Some vendors take checks from established customers. Some vendors accept Credit Cards. For your convenience, there is an ATM in the Office.

VISITING WHOLESALE ALLEY Wholesale Alley sells merchandise WHOLESALE, and therefore, those wishing to purchase merchandise must be licensed re-sellers.
Admission is possible for VISITORS who don't have a State Sales & Use Tax Number. Visitors must be accompanied by a CURRENT WHOLESALE ALLEY MEMBER. There is a $5.00 Visitor Fee per day.
TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS Wholesale Alley issues Memberships to Non-Profit Organizations. For Membership, Tax-Exempt Organizations must provide an ORIGINAL Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form designating you as Tax-Exempt. BRINGING CHILDREN TO WHOLESALE ALLEY Wholesale Alley is a Kid-Friendly place. Children are admitted FREE until they reach 17 years of age. Children 17 years of age, or older, are required to be Members and pay the Membership Fee, or be Visitors accompanied by Members
